Default Style 24s!

I found a set of 4 style 24s with tires for a very cheap price on local CL. Ad only says the finish is bad and i emailed poster. I was just wondering, are there any replicas of style 24s that these could be or are they most likely OEM. also is there anything special about these style of wheels or are they just ordinary. Here are some pics from the Ad.

well jeez, they sure weren't lying about the finish being bad

they're special because they're very light, they were the same rims that came on the M3 LTW edition

I'm thinking they may be replicas because they don't have the "BMW MOTORSPORT" lettering around the center or ///M badges, but don't take my word on that

So if they are OEM then they are Light weight for sure? and the only way to tell they are OEM is that they will have BMW MOTORSPORT and ///M badges?

even if they are replicas. $150 doesn't sound bad right? i mean i can sand and clean them up myself and re paint them.

$150 is a steal even if they need a new clearcoat...

Here's a good set in the SF Bay area for $950...

Someone correct me if I am wrong, but didn't the later versions of these come w/o the stamped lettering?

You are correct, they came w/o stamped lettering however, the non stamped wheels had an M logo between two of the lug holes.

Shoot, even if they are reps, $150 is a great price, especially if there's any tread left on the tires.
