Forced induction is the best way to go for increase in HP.

Up to 369bhp can be obtained from the M44 1.9L engine that we know of.

What comes next is how much power of that do you want and how much money do you have.

Let me know if I can help out any further

Forced induction is the term used to cover supercharging and turbo charging.

Prices can range from $3000 and upwards. Choosing the right one depends on your preference, budget, and the application it's being used for. It's best to do a lil research before taking the dive.

Many on this forum will have the DASC as it's a simple and economical way of getting more power from the engine M44 engine.

We use the custom RT setup, as our power targets are a lot higher than what the DASC can produce.

I hope this helps

Quite a fair bit.

DASC 210bhp Vs RT 369bhp

I think some of the guys got up to 230 - 250bhp with the DASC, but it's still pretty short of what the RT produces.

The 369bhp RT setup is a stage 4 custom setup. Premium parts are used to extract maximum power, so they're not cheap. They're only available in Australia at the moment and cost $15k AUD for a Stage II setup which will produce 250bhp.

Depending on the demand, we may work something out for export.

Lower (numerically higher) final drive gears will give a serious boost in acceleration, however the top end (max speed) suffers.

This means higher RPMs in all gears.

Typically much cheaper than a blower, even with a LSD installed at the same time.
