I have owned this car for about 4 years. Always garaged. Chassis has about 153k. Engine and transmission is from a 1997 328i, M52.Approximately 100k on the engine.
Pros:
M50 intake kit
New A.C. Compressor and accumulator.
Custom exhaust with Magnaflow muffler. Sounds great.
New front control arms and front end rebuild kit
New steering rack from Rack Dr.
New front struts, rear shocks
M3 front bumper
New stereo head unit
M3 leather fronts seats, a little rough
New headlights
New fuel filter
New spark plugs
New valve cover gasket
New power steering reservoir
2 new tires
18 inch wheels
Keyless entry
Several sets of spare wheels of desired
Moon roof works
Both window regulators replaced
Battery relocated to rear area
Has never left me stranded
Cons:
Paint is rough. Roof, nose, and hood are primer, now hood has a wrap.
shifts great, however will occasionally pop out of 4th gear only
Headlights are low beam only. Seems to be a switch issue.
Loose speaker wire somewhere.
Seats are a little rough
A pillar trim panels are off. I do have them.
