Default Please post a photo of + battery connection

Hi Folks,
I did a rear battery relocation years ago and now I want to reverse it. I want to get the engine bay back to stock and that includes the battery location.

I cannot remember how i did the swap, or at east reverse my steps :roll eyes:

Can someone please post a photo of your battery cables and how they mount on the battery.
Thank you.
Salud!
Update:
I can't remember if this block is part of the original setup. Can someone confirm. I'm just trying to make sure which (+) cables go to the (+) battery post. Seems like a lot of them.

I don't have a photo, but my 96 and 97 ti's don't have that block. The + goes on the driver side and the - cable will ground to the inner fender inside the battery box at the bottom in front of the battery.

Default Battery Relocation

Hi Folks,
New question on an old post. Does anyone have the OEM part # for #24 in the Realoem parts explosion picture? See pics

One more step toward the M52 swap. Battery relocation for weight transfer etc... We are using the original battery box in the rear. Made a base for it from 1/8" mild steel plate and the bracket from 1/4" flat stock. Will install Nutserts in the frame rail. Used a profile comb to get the shape of the frame rail then transferred it to making the bracket/legs.

Once front end is all hooked up and its buried properly in the factory slots under the rug we'll then slide the battery back and forth to find optimum location for maximum cable hiding and minimal slotting of the trunk mats. Still want the tool tray, mats and right pocket to be stock. We'll trim and bind the cuts in the mats by hand with a rug needle. Needing part # of the "Block B+" holder.

See pics below and pics in next post
Thanks T.

Post #2 with a few more pictures. To clarify, we are utilizing the original FRONT battery box.
