If you download the catalogue, you can see this really sweet blue leather trim interior. I also like the tan/yellow one in the media gallery, too. My dream car would look like an e36 ti but have the engine and interior of the new 325ti. | | | 01-13-2005, 05:01 AM | #5 | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Tampa, Florida Posts: 27 | I've seen this car on the road in Europe, but not in the states. Will it be sold here? And is it really that new? I assume it's an e46 (it sure looks like one), which, if I am not mistaken, is due to be replaced later this year. 325ti is a bad-@$$ little car though - 2.5 liter inline 6 and not a whole lot heavier than a 318ti. Torque ratings are very similar to adding a supercharger to our 1.9's. On a somewhat related topic, whatever happened to the 1 series? | | | 01-13-2005, 05:13 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Tampa Posts: 465 | looks like a kia from the front and a civic Si from the rear... | | | 01-13-2005, 05:21 AM | #7 | Member Join Date: Nov 2004 Posts: 38 | Nothing athletic or aggressive looking about that design...kinda disappointing visually in my opinion... | | | 01-13-2005, 05:47 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Maryland, USA Posts: 678 | Ack, the headlights are awful! Gimme one with e46 or e65 headlights, a 6spd manual, and the new 250 some hp 3 liter and Id get right in line. __________________ BostonGreen 97' w/ DASC & Technique Stage 1 software M3 front bumper. Actually looks really good in person! I'd have one in a minute. The One Series is coming to the US but not until the two-door coupe is introduced. We'll probably get the same engine as the new E90 325i which is really a U.S.-only 3.0L just detuned with different intake and cams than the 330i. It makes 215hp/185lb-ft. torque. Both the 330i and the 325i have the new magnesium/aluminum blocks. The 330i I drove revved to 7000 rpm and had valvetronic throttle. I assume all that will be similar in the 325i U.S. engine but I never got to see one. The 2.0d I drove, too, was really a hoot. Fast and fun and only a 4-cyl diesel. | | | 02-14-2005, 05:19 AM | #11 | Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: San Francisco, California Posts: 35 | i really wish that they brought the E46 compact to the states. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
