Default I suppose now's as good a time as any to introduce myeslf

Hello all, I'm Andrew. I currently live in upstate SC, and am a recent Clemson University grad with a degree in Biological Sciences. I'm going to Tri-County Tech next year for the dental assistant program, with plans to work in that field for a year or two as I prepare for/apply to dental school.

I'm a youngster, at 22, but I've owned quite a few cars. I just get bored, so I sell them and buy something else after a year or two. My favorite previous vehicle was an '87 Toyota MR2. Mid-engined, 2 tiny tiny trunks, and 110 raging Japanese horsepowers. I loved it! Ultimately, it just wasn't practical enough to be a primary vehicle, so we parted ways.

About a month ago, I purchased my ti down in Hotlanta. Avus blue, 5 speed, ~100k miles. She's got a wee bit of barely-noticeable damage along the rear bottom edge of the driver's-side door and rear quarter panel, but that's the only exterior defect. The black interior is pristine (thanks to BMW's leatherette), with the exception of a saggy headliner. I'm working on doing some subtle interior upgrades just to break up all the black. I've installed a shift knob and an E-brake handle in brushed aluminum from DDM tuning, which is helping. I also used a vinyl brushed aluminum-look wrap on the center stack and cigarette lighter tray panel, though I'm not completely sure if I want to experiment with something else. In the next little while here, I'm hoping to do some suspension refreshing, probably with bilstein sports and H&R lowering springs. I'd like to move up to 16" or 17" wheels, but can't really decided exactly what I'm looking for on that front.

I'll leave off with a few pictures (sorry for the cruddy quality-pics were taken on my phone), and an apology for being ridiculously long-winded! This site is absolutely awesome, and it's great to have such a fantastic resource to meet fellow ti'ers and get info from you guys who know waaayy more than I ever will!
