Resurrecting this thread as I am back on the quest for these door handles.

Hoping the cars are now old enough that BMW won't care; yet young enough that the parts still exist and they remember how to fix them up!

Working with a new dealer, and also Ed (BimmerBum) to see what we can shake out of the trees these days

Good luck in your quest, Jim- I've found that many parts that are NLA from BMW (a definite possibility for something like this, as there probably wasn't even too much of a market for them when the cars were new) often increase exponentially in price the further out in years they get when you can find them.

Here's hoping that you find a set somewhere that the vendor is just happy to get them off of their shelf and lets them go for a reasonable price...

Tischer (getbmwparts.com) site shows $186.40 each. Doesn't say NLA.
