Looking to get standard and not lowering springs. (I actually plan to use my hatch to lug around music gear). Any pointers in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. Best deal I've seen is on ebay for a used pair pulled from a 1996 328is with 120k miles, but not sure of compatibility. Thanks. -Dennis, L.A., CA | | | 06-24-2014, 02:56 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2013 Location: NJ Posts: 373 | 328is springs won't work. They're too long if I recall correctly. Shameless plug: I have one rear spring from my 318ti I'm willing to sell for $25 shipped. Let me know if you're interested in purchasing it. __________________ 2000 M5 -> 1996 318ti -> 1997 328i Instagram: ndrewchow YouTube: MINIzguy | | | 06-24-2014, 03:38 AM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Sep 2013 Location: Los Angeles Posts: 13 | Is it a "non-lowered" spring? Might take you up on it if I'm able to find another that's sold by itself. | | | 06-24-2014, 03:44 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2013 Location: NJ Posts: 373 | It is the sport model spring from BMW. Lowered a few millimeters from the non-sport models. __________________ 2000 M5 -> 1996 318ti -> 1997 328i Instagram: ndrewchow YouTube: MINIzguy | | | 06-27-2014, 04:30 AM | #5 | Member Join Date: Mar 2014 Location: Marietta, GA Posts: 30 | I may have a set of base springs from a 96 base for sale in a couple days, I'll keep you posted. | | | 07-03-2014, 04:16 AM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Sep 2013 Location: Los Angeles Posts: 13 | Please let me know about the set. I have received the shocks but haven't been able to look for springs because I was in the middle of a move. Thanks. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
