I don't know if it's a common problem or not. I'm a pretty light guy, so I doubt it has anything to with me. (or maybe it's my badass selecting from park to reverse, then to drive). But seriously, does anyone else have this problem? Maybe it's a coincidence. Is there anyway of going about fixing it? __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. The stock seats are coming out and vaders are going in this week though. I'm going to try and fix the driver seat(twisted one) and I'll post pics if it's interesting. | | | 10-06-2009, 09:19 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2004 Location: Long Beach area Posts: 1,189 | My ti has a twisting problem too... To me though, it seemed like it was the plastic backing. When I have time, I'll take it apart and see if it's the same problem as you (CirrusS22)... __________________ 97 Jet Black 318ti Sport. I had the same issue, driver's side seat broken at the base of the back causing a fun twist at every gear change. Had it welded up at a friend's shop. Here are two vids on youtube about it. I don't have the weld but some info highlighted on getting the seat out and back in.
