Exclamation Interior Air/Heat Vents - Stupid thing happened

Ok, I am in a very difficult situation now and I have no idea what to do. Under my front seats there are two openings which I was told are the Air Conditioner and Heating vents for the back seat. I have gotten something stuck in there, it is a really long story, and I need to get it out. THe mechanic told me I would need to take the seats out and remove the carpeting to gain access to the vents. Can any of you please send me any info on the vents that he spoke of, the process of removing the seats and carpet. And anything possible... anything would be appreciated. Please someone tell me something soon...
