Default What can I fit on a 1995 318ti with no modding

I've been thinking of getting a new set of tires for the 1995 318ti

What can I fit without modding ? Right now the car is fitted with 205/55/15

Would love to go to 17 for Summer tires !

Thanks !

It all depends on offset and tire size. If you go with a 17x8 et38-48, you should be able to run a 235/40/17 tire with no issues. If you want to run a higher sidewall, go with a 225/45/17. SEARCH.

+1 to what Jess said.

I run Style 22's (17") with a 235/45 in the rear and 235/40 in the front with no issues whatsoever on a stock suspension. I'll let you know how that setup works with a lowered suspension after this weekend.

I just sold a set of OEM Style 67 (that same style) wheels with Michelin Pilots on them a few weeks ago for $400. You can find them all day on bimmerforums.com for about that same price ($400).
