If you go with a 17x8 et38-48, you should be able to run a 235/40/17 tire with no issues. If you want to run a higher sidewall, go with a 225/45/17. I run Style 22's (17") with a 235/45 in the rear and 235/40 in the front with no issues whatsoever on a stock suspension. I'll let you know how that setup works with a lowered suspension after this weekend. | | | 04-14-2011, 12:21 PM | #6 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2011 Location: Montreal Posts: 16 | | | | 04-14-2011, 04:04 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Los Angeles, CA Posts: 1,464 | Quote: Originally Posted by 318tifighter | Hard to say by looking at them- you need to know what the rim offset and rim widths are. Additionally, those are not OEM wheels and that price seems waaay expensive for OEM wheels, much less non-OEM wheels. I just sold a set of OEM Style 67 (that same style) wheels with Michelin Pilots on them a few weeks ago for $400. You can find them all day on bimmerforums.com for about that same price ($400). | | | 04-14-2011, 04:06 PM | #8 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2011 Location: Montreal Posts: 16 | thanks ! mucho appreciated, I'm offering him 300$ I just need a cheap summer tire for now with a cool little look | | | 04-22-2011, 07:49 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: SOUTH Jersey Posts: 1,085 | I run M3 Double Spokes with 235/45/17s on Bilstien pss9 coilovers wound all the way down.. no rubbing | | | 04-28-2011, 06:24 PM | #10 | Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Winnipeg Canada Posts: 45 | Quote: Originally Posted by Mad-Machine I run M3 Double Spokes with 235/45/17s on Bilstien pss9 coilovers wound all the way down.. no rubbing | What width/ offset are you runnin on that set up? | | | 04-28-2011, 10:47 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: SOUTH Jersey Posts: 1,085 | Rims are 7 1/2s.
