The quality is great, though; definitely not your typical eBay level. The things that were, though, were the brackets. The advertised hole spacing was wrong, so I ended up having to drill holes in them to fit the seats. The steel's only 1/8" or so, but man, that was a bear. __________________ -Kenny | | | 09-19-2007, 04:28 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Florida Posts: 1,595 | Nice and I bet real comfy. | | | 09-19-2007, 04:57 AM | #5 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | They look nice. I especially like the stitching. I plan having my dash, headliner and console covered with double stitched black leather. Do the seats recline or tilt forward to allow access to the back? __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 09-19-2007, 05:45 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Melbourne, Fl/Athens, AL Posts: 393 | Yeah, I specifically ordered the white stitching, both because it looks good and it helps the tie the seats into the gray a bit more. And yes, the seats recline and tilt forward, but you have to slide the seat forward and tilt the seatback forward to gain access to the rear seats, since there isn't a quick-release lever. That's probably my only gripe with the seats so far, but at least I don't need to get back there very often. __________________ -Kenny | | | 09-19-2007, 01:16 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: nj Posts: 191 | Nice seats. Are they brand name seats? do u have to remove the airbag sensor under the passenger seat? can you pm the ebay seller? planning to buy a pair too. thanks | | | 09-19-2007, 03:39 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Melbourne, Fl/Athens, AL Posts: 393 | No, they aren't brand-name seats. I did not want to hassle with attempting to remove the passenger occupancy sensor from my stock seat and installing it in the new one, so I just made a simple circuit that tells the airbag system that there is always a passenger. I have the seller's e-mail address, so just let me know if you'd like it. __________________ -Kenny | | | 09-19-2007, 07:35 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2006 Location: Land of the Vikings Posts: 2,700 | yup, put the email up and if he has a web shop, they look vader-riffic mate __________________ Vin Number decode and Retrofit Pdfs Available Free ! Now that I look at it, it looks like the auction price for the seats has gone down since I bought them; I got them for $400 shipped outside eBay, whereas they were something like $500-550 in the auction. If you e-mail him at admin(at)jkgultimatemotorsports.com you may be able to get an even better price (no eBay=no additional fees for him). Don't forget that you'll also need to get a set of brackets if you purchase them. __________________ -Kenny | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
