Default Can we get a clubsport forum

I am hoping for a forum/section where we can post things about our clubsports. I know there isn't many of us but it would be nice if we could share our info/specs/anything that may be specific to the CS and have it in one place/thread/whatever works. Would it be better to just make an "official" thread that can be stickied?

Just a thought.

Not a bad idea really. I think the Club Sport is worthy of its own section and it should have within it a stickied thread, that was locked and could only be managed by one person, with the sole purpose of compiling information on the CS. Probably worthwhile for those people looking for a one stop thread for information on the car who would rather not sift through 20 threads of conflicting information and the pointless bickering that sometimes occurs.

How would this work?
And what's more, how do you keep it on topic?

We really need a wiki and so far I haven't seen anything that has a common login.
The forum may be updated to v4 in the winter and then we can create articles or look into a possible wiki then.

I am open to suggestions in the meantime.

Edit: At one time we had a dedicated conversion section with subforums. It was impossible to keep it on topic.

I just noticed there is a social group for CS owners but I don't think there is the capability to make a thread in the group.

I agree about having one person in charge of cleaning up the sticky thread from clutter.

Edit, whats a wiki? as in wikipedia?

It could be a resource of information with multiple people contributing to an article instead of a forum thread.

The other idea could be a single thread where several people can edit the first post. Although that gets sticky since there is no undo or history of edits.

So, what would be the point in having a section on the clubsport. There isnt too much extra to this package compared to the other ti's. Sure theyre a rare package, but nothing beyond special. While having my clubsport i compiled a few links to our info on them.

Have a few more on my desktop, but you get the idea.
