I lived in Sicily, Italy for just over 5 years at which time I owned two euro-spec e36's. One of them was a 318i which I've taken well over 125mph. My other was a 328is which I regularly took over 150mph! We didn't have the Autobahn, but instead we had the Autostrada and the Superstrada. While those highways had posted speed limits, they were merely suggestions as they were not regulated or enforced. The cars here in the US have restrictions and having driven them both, I completely understand the differences. That being said, I would never consider driving those speeds on our roads here in the states. I do however have a stretch on my way home where I open up the throttle and stretch my motor out atleast once a week. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 10-02-2008, 02:51 AM | #131 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2006 Location: G-dale, California Posts: 1,698 | JESS STFU!
