How healthy should the engine be? I've heard mixed thoughts on putting a supercharger on a high mileage car (mine has 225k). There's a few sc14s in junkyards near me so..

Healthy as in long as you have done the basic maintenance and all plus the engine is working fine, you can go ahead with it I would say, Just make sure you have done the cooling system and likely clean up the 02 sensor, maf, maybe renew the knock and cam/crank sensors which can fail after 20 years quite fast and one other thing I would say to anybody who owns a Ti is open up the ABS electric module (no need to take the ABS lines off just bending them should gain some clearance) and resolder the points you can. I have posted a topic on it here and everywhere else.

Overall, if its a good motor and been looked after, you wont have any issues really. Go ahead with it.
