Default Stalled Start 1 out of 10 times...

Hey all,

I've been having this problem for quite some time now. However it seems like it is happing more frequently.

1 out of 10 starts will result in a "stalled start", where the car begins to start but then dies. I let it sit for about 5 seconds, try again. This time the engine turns over and everything is good.

I recently replaced the fuel filter, spark plugs, oil, oil filter, and belts. I'm thinking it has something to do with the fuel pump? or perhaps the injectors.
I did not replace the spark plug wires, and noticed that one of them is starting to crack.

What do you guys think?

I do know that cracked spark plug wires are bad and need to be replaced. This can cause a mis-fire and could be your problem and could also cause other issues on rainy days or days with moisture
