Default Mechanics

So its a pretty common thread i see alot and i really always wonder if there really are any good mechanics out there? So i propose we start linking or just putting the contact info for those good mechanics who do good work and come recommended. I like to do my own work but really there just isnt time anymore and if i have a good mechanic i dont mind paying that little extra to get the job done.
So id like to see this get stickied and we start filling it up.
Include the City/State or Area of the states its in and contact info and anything else we can put on to help the search. Thanks

I'm a tech with 3+ years of experience. 2+ with VW, and I am now working in a german only shop with mostly audis but vw and bmw as well. I've been told I have more skill than some people with 10+ years of experience.

Occasionally I have time to do work on the side. I have friends on the other hand who do lots of side-work with several years of experience.

Not a bad idea, but it should be done in each regional forum. I know great techs in LA and Boston, but don't live anywhere near there now.

+1

It would be a hassle to sort through every entry when most wouldn't be of any use.
