So i propose we start linking or just putting the contact info for those good mechanics who do good work and come recommended. I like to do my own work but really there just isnt time anymore and if i have a good mechanic i dont mind paying that little extra to get the job done. So id like to see this get stickied and we start filling it up. Include the City/State or Area of the states its in and contact info and anything else we can put on to help the search. I've been told I have more skill than some people with 10+ years of experience. Occasionally I have time to do work on the side. I have friends on the other hand who do lots of side-work with several years of experience. __________________ 97 Boston Green 318ti Active | | | 05-27-2008, 02:08 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | Not a bad idea, but it should be done in each regional forum. I know great techs in LA and Boston, but don't live anywhere near there now. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 05-27-2008, 02:21 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: New Orleans Posts: 970 | my dad owns a shop in new orleans been working on them since early 80s __________________ ^being rebuilt^ until then: daily car: 96' Blue DASC'd ti with koni coilovers slowly progressing... weekend car: 85 1/2' 944 Porsche no a/c, p/s, gutted cat, loud as hell exhaust, loud as hell sound system | | | 05-27-2008, 02:22 AM | #5 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | Quote: Originally Posted by aceyx Not a bad idea, but it should be done in each regional forum.. | +1 It would be a hassle to sort through every entry when most wouldn't be of any use. __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH!
