Default squeaky front suspension ??

front passenger side squeaks under compression

busted shock? or bushing? any ideas before I seek pro advice?

i would say check your struts and springs in front.

mine does the same thing when its colder outside and I have brand new bilsteins. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it does it all the time

Mine does the same when cold. I am changing the brakes next weekend and planned on looking around to what might be causing it. My first thought was the struts, but based on Xenocide's post, it appears it might be something else.

I'll let you know if I find anything when I look it over this weekend.

when you guys do your struts and/or springs are you replacing the rubber pads under the springs? These usually wear through by the time struts are needed, and the metal-on-metal will squeak a bit.

Just food for thought...

Probably your strut and spring need to be check. I think changing the rubber pads will lessen the problem. but not quite solve it.

+1 Check lower control arm bushings. Mine have started creaking since switching to Powerflex a few months ago.. Need to regrease them...

my rears squeek, and everything suspension related on the car is brand new... it might be the hatch though, i haven't narrowed it down.
