Default PS3 and GT6

I won a Play Station3 and Gran Tourismo 6.
Any recommendations on a steering wheel?

I'm a tank slapping fool with the hand controller.
Maybe I just don't have it set right?

I steer with the left joystick and use the buttons for throttle and brake. I have a friend with a stationary go-kart set up and the logitech steering wheel and brakes he swears by it but I could not get used to the feeling of working car-like controls without getting any g-forces in response... at least that's my excuse.

Logitech DFGT or G27 are good budget simulation wheels. Fanatec is also another brand that makes good wheels that range from budget to hardcore simulation versions. Thrustmaster has the T500RS which is another good simulation wheel.

I find it harder to use a controller and get no feedback at all when I play simulation games. With a wheel, at least you get steering feel. I use a Logitech G25 and have a Logitech DFP in storage when my G25 breaks. I usually play Live For Speed or iRacing, but not anymore since I'm back at school.
