video project

i woke up this morning in the mood to drive, so i ended up trying to make a small demo video.

i used 3 iphone 4's to capture it, a tripod, some DIY phone stand/docks to keep the other two standing up, and imovie to edit the clips. there seems to be some small delay between some video clips.. i couldn't figure out how to get rid of it unfortunately. this is my first time trying something like this, and i think its pretty cool , especially with some of the nice fall leaves. i feel like toward the end of the video on the one country road with the trees it could have been a nice wallpaper...maybe tomorrow !

That's pretty cool man! The picture quality is nice and sharp too. I think if you were to mix it up with a little in-car footage it would be cool, also maybe think about 'punching out' of the clips a little bit quicker because on a couple of them you have a few seconds of 'empty road' footage after the car drives past, which looks a little odd because the car driving past takes the same time or less...

Speaking of fall colours, weather permitting I am gonna get out tomorrow and do another quick clip record for my 'fall colours' project - air temps have dropped a lot in the last week and the gold, red and orange leaves are starting to dominate. Need to get in there quick to get pics/video cos it's also very windy and so the branches will be bare very soon... and when the sky is grey it makes for dull pictures!

I'll be making some more videos soon. I had a bit of technical issues with making the video, as far as timing it and trimming it. Next time I want to make a longer video that has more of a "story"

I definitely want to go more in depth with making the video as far as angle and different shots. It just takes a lot of getting in and out and stopping and starting haha, especially doing it by myself controlling 3 camera throughout the neighborhoods
