I know definitely after I get through with paying for Fall and Spring tuition, a Stromung is goin on the car, and then some DJ Auto angel eyes. I wouldn't say the Stromung sounds ricey. The ones I've heard sound pretty mellow to my standards. Then again I live down here where everyone has a chevy truck and straight pipes it lol. Does anyone make headers specifically for a Ti for a decent price?

So to those who do have the stromung, Does it sound anything like a honda or acura? I was thinking about adding a resonator to quiet things up a bit.

The only headers ever shown to make any gain on the M44 are the supersprint headers, anything else is a waste of money.

Supersprint are a waste of money anyway, it's a very minor gain compared to the price and how hard it is to install (at least up here where exhaust nuts will rust solid)

the stock exhaust manifold is a pretty nice set of tube headers, I'd just keep them

What do you mean by mellow? I wish i had someone around town who had one so i can hear it. I am pretty sure im getting it though. I have the Orion V2 angel eyes in my car, they are sick! Really really bright, nice thin circles. Looks OEM. Ill post pics of my car. I recommend them, bought them from Umnitza.com

Yea i agree with that. I really dont think they are worth it for an m42 or m44 unless you had some extreme mods. The factory headers on out cars are pretty nice/decent

Check this thread for audio/video samples of a variety of cat-backs on the 318ti.

i really wish i'd recorded the sound of my Supersprint with the M44 engine...

omg the sound!! seriously, it used to burble and spit... even nicer after the de-cat. it really was lovely... now i've got an M50 lump it sounds deeper, i'll give it that - but it isn't as heavenly as with the previous engine.

i'll gladly sell it.... but you lot are all in the U.S..... if someone wants it - they'd have to pay postage and that, and its definitely a Supersprint i've got - comes in two pieces, and it doesn't hit the crossmember (its bent slightly - maybe previous owner had it bent to fit nicely)
