I wouldn't say the Stromung sounds ricey. The ones I've heard sound pretty mellow to my standards. Then again I live down here where everyone has a chevy truck and straight pipes it lol. Does anyone make headers specifically for a Ti for a decent price? Quote: Originally Posted by E36Wes Yea i think that $1K+ is a little much for just a catback for a 4 banger. I was thinking about adding a resonator to quiet things up a bit. | | | | 06-30-2010, 02:16 AM | #17 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | The only headers ever shown to make any gain on the M44 are the supersprint headers, anything else is a waste of money. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 06-30-2010, 02:58 AM | #18 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by spidertri The only headers ever shown to make any gain on the M44 are the supersprint headers, anything else is a waste of money. | Supersprint are a waste of money anyway, it's a very minor gain compared to the price and how hard it is to install (at least up here where exhaust nuts will rust solid) the stock exhaust manifold is a pretty nice set of tube headers, I'd just keep them | | | 06-30-2010, 05:32 AM | #19 | Member Join Date: Jun 2010 Location: Connecticut Posts: 58 | Quote: Originally Posted by UberWagen I know definitely after I get through with paying for Fall and Spring tuition, a Stromung is goin on the car, and then some DJ Auto angel eyes . I have the Orion V2 angel eyes in my car, they are sick! Really really bright, nice thin circles. Looks OEM. Ill post pics of my car. I recommend them, bought them from Umnitza.com | | | 06-30-2010, 05:33 AM | #20 | Member Join Date: Jun 2010 Location: Connecticut Posts: 58 | Quote: Originally Posted by tiFreak Supersprint are a waste of money anyway, it's a very minor gain compared to the price and how hard it is to install (at least up here where exhaust nuts will rust solid) the stock exhaust manifold is a pretty nice set of tube headers, I'd just keep them | Yea i agree with that. I really dont think they are worth it for an m42 or m44 unless you had some extreme mods. The factory headers on out cars are pretty nice/decent | | | 06-30-2010, 05:57 AM | #21 | That's not Millpoint Blue Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: BNA Posts: 3,161 | __________________ Real men know how to SEARCH!
