Default WTB: 3.45 LSD diff or ???

Looking for a 3.45 gear LSD diff for my 98 Ti...

Motor setup with be an lsx w/ a smaller turbo so I would like to keep the gearing a bit low to help load up the turbo. It should make 550-600 to the tire depending on where I set the boost so I would like something as strong as possible.

I have read about the medium case e30 setups and those seem to be fairly strong so I would be open to an e30 diff and axles setup as well.

The car will be a driver, rarely drag raced, but I would like to not break axles all the time like my rx7 did.

Please let me know if you have anything.

Thanks!

Chris

Youd be better off looking for an open 3.45 from an e24 and using an LS unit from something like a 3.73 or 3.25, as these will be the most common and cheapest to find on the market.

Just use all medium case stuff? How much do you think I am looking at to get a diff like that together?

For the sake of simplicity I would almost rather just buy something done and not have to mess with pulling the housing all apart.

Thanks for the reply!

373 go for 150 to 200, 345 are about 50 for open.

I would be looking at $700 to my door for a used diff from them... That is more than my entire motor cost and it will make 600hp all day long

Thanks for the link though, ill keep my eyes out and hopefully something cheap will come up.

I bought my 4.10lsd for 70shipped in 08 and my 3.25 for like 275 back in 07. There are deals out there, I see them all the time. You can also use the e36 m3 diff cover with the dual mount ears and weld in some tabs for it. Randy Forbes' kits do this and he's very local for me
