replacement window?

some jerk broke the back seat vent window (driver-side).

They weren't able to open the lock and didn't even take anything... but I need to replace the glass... any ideas - anyone with one to spare?!

part # is 51368242601 and getbmwparts.com has it for $107 before shipping, if that's not in your budget I'm sure someone here parting out a car would have one, check the FS subforum

I have to replace the gasket around my rear window. I see it at getbmwparts.com, but don't know the part number. Anyway you could give me the part number for the left rear window gasket? And.. is this a job I could do by myself or do I need to go to get it done professionally at the local window shop? I know these windows can "pop" out with a little force, but I don't need to add the window to my parts list after a failed attempt.


Any advise as to how I could go about replacing the gasket would be great. Thanks.

Nevermind on the part number.. I looked at the one you had referenced for the glass on realoem and was able to find the other part.

But.. if you have any tips on replacing this part (51728146765), that would be great. Thanks.

I'm honestly not sure, never had to replace the window before, I remember Tony (Bluebimma) removed his side windows to tint them, you could try sending him a PM
