Default 95 Ti Swap - Doner Car Question

I have a manual tranny 95 ti... was wondering if I could use parts from a 325is Auto or actually what parts would I be missing if I decided to use this as a doner car. Should I just wait to pick up a manual transmission doner car? Thoughts??

all this will work/ all e36 trannys will bolt right up to any e36 motor.

you will have a check engine light from using the auto ecu/dme so its recommended that you get a manual ecu/dme and then once thats done you will need a dealership to align the ecu/dme

Won't it need a different driveshaft?

So aside from the ecu and possible drive shaft everything else is the same?

since you are using the ti manual tranny and drive shaft you wont need a drive shaft.

that would be needed if you were going from an auto tranny in your ti to a manual swap.
als if you were for some reason putting the auto into the ti

You can use the Auto wiring harness. There will be some changes for your backup lights which are documented, but everything will work.
