E30 M3 Parts

Does anyone know if there are any benefits (horsepower gains) in swapping parts from an E30 M3, such as Exhaust and intake manifolds, cylinder head and throttle bodies for our M42/44 engines. I've found a dead M3 with useable manifolds.

Thanks! I would've spent unnecessary time and money if I didn't know.
However, I'm pretty green when it comes to diff swaps.
Can you tell me what type of gain/benefit by swapping to certain diff ratios.
