Default Squeaky Clutch

I didn't know where else to put this, but does anybody have a remedy for a squeaky clutch? Is it as simple as some WD40 or is there more to it? Any help would be appreciated. The pedal just creaks when I push it in or out.

If you're sure it's the pedal, UUC sell a set of bushings that apparently eliminate the sqeal:

Here's a picture how-to:

Thanks a lot! Has anyone done this before? Does it change the feel of the pedal at all? Thanks again.

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

Know E36 issue, no permanent fix , even the new bushings can
squeek after time. My personal pet peeve about our E36 model and its
bretheren is all the nit picky minor problems thet BMW LEFT in production.

1. Window mechanism
2. Squeeky clutch.
3. Weak clutch.
4. Plastic under the hood that needs replacing way too often.
5. Plastic radiator tank.
6. I'm on my 3rd shift knob.
7. Plastic clutch pedal lever...

Other than that I really like the car a lot....

Yeah, I've had to have the window mechanism replaced twice in my car. Thanks for the fix on the clutch, guys. I just hope it doesn't come back too soon...

Going to be buying the UUC bushings, does anyone have a link for install instructions? The one above isn't there anymore.

Thanks.
