Greg,
I am in Germany and am thinking of buying a car here to resell in the U.S. I can get a 318ti, but I don't know some important info., is it only diesel (not importable), what modifications have to be made to convert it, does the govt. consider it to qualify? How much is it likely to cost to use an ICI?
If you know any answers, let me know. thanks Sowana

Yeah I think you are asking the wrong question, in the wrong forum. If someone has a TI for sale here...email me please.

Greg, did you see this one? http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.js...ce=&cardist=17

It looks like it could use some cleaning...

Sergey.

yeah I know that car well. I went to RI to see it once, it was sold to a guy in MA and went to see it again. There are tears in the leather, the roof lining has tons of ash marks on it, the front bumper falls off, the window seals pop out. It's in sad shape. Should have seen it with the neon lights on the bottom.

You sure you won't consider something two years older?

hey nemo I sent you an email with some info and pics of my Ti, it's a '96, but incase you change your mind, the only info not in the email is it comes with a nice sound system, 4 pioneer speakers, stock tweeters, JVC pict. deck with mp3 cd and sirius capabilities. Anyway this is a nice looking car, runs great for 129k miles. Anyway let me know.

Personally, I think G.T.'s car looks extremely nice if you are willing to spend that kind of money on a 318ti. Not to mention it has an M42 engine which has better internals than an M44.

A good example is my car 170k miles on the M42 engine and chassis. The car is raced. Engine is still doing pretty well, but looking to replace before something major happens.
