Default Antenna Delete?

Hey everyone!

So every time I look at my car I think, wow, that antennae annoys me.
so I am looking to take it off. My question is, how would I go about doing
this safely without scratching the paint? Also, where can I get
a sort-of rubber insert so water does not get inside? Anyone else ever done this? Advice appreciated.

Thanks

I read an old thread where someone used a plug from home depot and someone else had a body shop fill it in.
I suppose you can make your own gasket and a plug.

You can easily remove the antenna.
I did it to replace the grommet.

I deleted mine. I went to a paint, interior, parts accessories shop here in Denver called D&B supplies and got a plug that fit perfectly. No leaks and looks great. Good luck with your project.

Thumbs up

Unscrewed the antennae and plugged it up with a little plastic plug I got at Lowes.
Then I wrapped and stuffed the antennae behind the carpet, so I still get radio signal, just not as great
Thank you for your responses!
