has anyone convert a normal ti to a cali top

how hard is it to convert to a cali top from a normal one because a friend of mine has a wreck california top

There are a number of businesses that specialize in aftermarket sunroofs. You might want to give one of them a call, though I suspect they'd charge a large amount if they'd do it at all. And if professionals don't want to tackle it, that's a good indication it would be a big job.
