Arrow HELP!! I need tires and maybe rims!

So, I went to get my tires balanced and rotated yesterday for the first time I have had my ti since last month. Well apparently the guy before me decided to never rotate and balance the tires.

Long story short the tires have been cupping and sounding horrible on the road. Sounds like I'm taxing to take off.

I was curious if anybody had some decent tires and maybe rims laying around that they wouldn't mind parting with for a good price? I would like to go bigger than the stock 15' rims but my first concern is a set of 4 tires.

Help out guys!! I live in KS. Any thoughts or ideas for a novice ti guy??

Thanks in advance.

Oh, what is the biggest size tire that can fit on 15' rims without having issues? Thanks

check craigslist sometimes you got people giving away old tires just to clear them out their garage.

If the tires are "cupping," you may have an issue with the suspension or alignment, I forget which.

Without knowing the size of the tires on Marv17's wheels, they should fit. 16" Style 18's are the wheels that come standard with the Sport package, and should look great on your car.

The folks who rotated/balanced your wheels should have been able to tell you why the tires are cupping and give you suggestions on where to get cheap tires locally. Surely there are a few places local to you that sell used tires. Have you checked the Yellow Pages?

well i was selling the rims for $400 but ill drop it to $350, however, im not sure how much shipping is. here are a couple pics of them on my ti:

they fit fine, perfect i may add, with my stock suspension. no rubbing what so ever. and there's still plenty of thread left on them. They're just sitting in my backyard under a some covers.

Marv, do you have closer pics of the tire's tread? Also, were you wanting $350 for the entire set of tires and rims combined?

Thanks

If I do get aftermarket rims my OEM set will be up for grabs. FYI

check your local craigslist:

http://kansascity.craigslist.org/pts/558421416.html

also look on ebay. Any 15, 16 or 17" BMW e36 or e46 wheel will fit. the only time you might rub is if you're lowered and you go wider than 235 or 245 series tires.
