Do I have to dismantle the whole dash? I like the idea of using the felt pad fix. I was considering using some wax paper to slide them in without the adhesive sealant, and then pull the paper out and see if they'll stick well enough. If it's not that hard to remove the vents from the dash, then I might see about taking it apart. | | | 10-09-2009, 04:42 AM | #18 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2008 Location: New Orleans Posts: 970 | haha mine does it too, i rolled up a piece of paper and stuffed it in there, cant see it and i never turn it off so it works great __________________ ^being rebuilt^ until then: daily car: 96' Blue DASC'd ti with koni coilovers slowly progressing... weekend car: 85 1/2' 944 Porsche no a/c, p/s, gutted cat, loud as hell exhaust, loud as hell sound system | | | 10-09-2009, 10:29 AM | #19 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | yeah, i used a reciept paper. folded it up in a little square and stuffed it in the crack. can barely see it, does the job. and cheap. lol. __________________ -Theta Chi- Float like a cadilac, sting like a BIMMER .... my socket is just too thick and won't fit in the hole! damnit!
