I don't have enough power in my stock M44 to need these...Yes, yes, I know someone will tell me this. Subsequently, I want them anyway. Anyone have a set or know where I can get them without being extorted in the price? Y do u need this? Cause your car doesn't produce that much power? I don't think they make a rear BBK, but I know they do for the front. If you really want a BBK, get a StopTech setup. | Part of the reason is 'bling value'. The other reason is my intent to have more power through a DASC, SEAM or a six cylinder transplant. I'm just not sure what route I'm going to take. But in the meantime, I want to build the car out the right way. Locally, I've checked, and I can get a BBK for the Ti. Brembo $1500 for the front and $1100 for the rear. I have no problems spending that, but want the best possible deal that I can get. Anyone? Another thing to consider is what wheels are/will you be running. You will want to be sure that your wheels will fit over your brakes. Chris | Those should be plenty big for some huge brakes. But again, most companies like brembo will build a brake kit as big as you want it. It it makes the car go faster or stop faster, it's cool. 1500 for a full front brembo system is a pretty good price. Just make sure that is not with their cheapest caliper and rotor as there is a big difference between what you see on the web for 1600 and what you see for 2100. Also check my thread for the UUC brake kit that I just put on my car. They have a matched rear kit to go along with it using wilwood calipers and BMW motorsport rotors. I also read your write up on it. Please tell me you didn't have to add a bias controller to this setup? If you are going to do the front and rear I would run their setup that has a 6 piston caliper upfront with the 4 piston caliper in the rear. This way you still have more stopping power up front. But the 4 piston setup in the front is more than enough. The stopping power on the 4 piston front caliper is amazing. With the M floating rotors the base kit was 1399 and that includes lines for the front and rear. If you read through a lot of other car forums people are really raving about the new forged superlite calipers in comparison to the older billet superlite calipers. With all of the other stuff I got, track pads(170$ I think), rear pads(70$ I think), brake fluid($26), and a clutch stop($20) my total order was still under 1700. Talk to the guys at UUC and see if they have run the full front/rear kit on a Ti. I think their test car is a 325is, which weighs more and will have very different braking characteristics. Unfortunately if you do the front and rear you won't know if you need the brake bias controller until you test out the kit in a hard braking situation. Unless you can find somebody who also did the same kit. I think the Wilwood calipers look better than anything from ATE or Brembo.
