While it looks clean he does not say how many miles were on it before the rebuild. Dustin- in your opinion what is the longevity of your DASC after it's rebuild? Have you looked at it since? __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 06-28-2007, 10:15 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2005 Location: çî†ÿ øf åNgëL§, CA Posts: 5,314 | Quote: Originally Posted by 96cali LOL his BIN price is only $150 less than a Group buy. | $250. $315 after shipping. They say it never needs replacing...but come on, it's common sense that something that spins 20k rpms is going to need an oil change. Honestly if you do nothing it'll probably last 150k+ miles. I'm just a nut about preventive maintenance. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 06-29-2007, 12:35 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2007 Location: Ireland Posts: 382 | it says that its for a m44 z3... so it should fit a m44 318 iS right ? also does anyone know what the difference between the dasc for a left hand drive and a right hand drive car ? ? ? is it just the length of the trottle cable or more ? thanks.... oh and dusten your site is listed in the ad... som1 you kno ? __________________ ............................. ..........1999 318iS Coupe.......... The z3 kit will not work on the 318ti without some work. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 06-29-2007, 04:51 PM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | Quote: Originally Posted by DustenT The z3 kit will not work on the 318ti without some work. | Care to elaborate o great supercharger swami? __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 06-29-2007, 05:07 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Florida Posts: 2,525 | There are six or seven different DASC kits. Depending on if you have an m42 or m44 in a TI, Z3, or 318is and the year of the car. The brackets are different and the pulleys are different. I think the belts may be different as well. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
