Was driving into work today and took some of my old favorite roads. Thought it would be a fun run t oshare with you guys. We could start off in Sunshine at the country store and run to the Jimmie Cone in Mt. Airy taking a long and fun route through some great back roads. Jimmie Cone has a big cruise in on the 1st and 3rd saturdays too, so we could annoy the musclecar guys and the ricers with a big BMW presence. I also found that there is an incredibly fun road running through Gambrills state park up past fredneck that I would almost consider a mini tail of the dragon. I'm not sure what my upcoming schedule is like, so this would have to be sometime in September... __________________ No more ti. | | | 08-11-2010, 03:24 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | Sounds like fun, September will be best for me too. __________________ ~Dave~ 98 328ti Morea Grun slicktop 11 128i space gray slicktop 13 JGC WK2 Deep Cherry Search | RealOEM | | | 08-11-2010, 03:59 AM | #3 | Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Stafford VA Posts: 81 | I'm game! ..I'll speak for Cedric as well in saying that he's game. H&R sports paired with tokico blues-and every other component has been replaced. Will be nice to compare the suspension to everyone elses. I might have a supersprint by then also. __________________ No more ti. | | | 08-21-2010, 04:42 AM | #14 | Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Stafford VA Posts: 81 | How are you liking the suspension setup? I know you were wary of it since it's your commuter. | | | 08-21-2010, 04:04 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: MD/PA/DC Posts: 1,629 | I LOVE IT! It's not too harsh, but still firm enough to handle great. The ride is actually better now than it was. It could use some bigger swaybars, but I'll leave it alone for now. I like the stance and have been debating doubling up the isolators on the rear springs to get a little more height out of it. __________________ No more ti. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
