I'm not much of a chrome fan for rims... but that white m3 with the silver versions looks really nice. | | | 04-25-2006, 12:48 AM | #7 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Don't like the chrome look on your car. __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 04-25-2006, 06:45 AM | #8 | Member Join Date: Apr 2006 Location: Houston, TX Posts: 40 | don't much care for the chrome either the silver looks better. | | | 04-25-2006, 08:25 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2005 Location: CG68 Posts: 280 | I wouldn't call that chrome... More like machined aluminum. | | | 04-25-2006, 01:43 PM | #10 | Moderator Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Bouncing off the rev limiter in CT! Posts: 3,156 | Yes, Machined Aluminum; not Chrome plate. They are just clean, and photographed with a flash for more 'bling'. They are the same (well, almost; mine are real) as on my car. A couple days on the road and they tone right down. And, I agree- NO CHROME WHEELS! | | | 04-25-2006, 04:15 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2006 Location: Tacompton, WA Posts: 309 | yeah i dont like chrome either __________________ 95 318ti Alpine white, E46 m3 front bumper, Clear Corners, Cosmo CAI, k&n filter, Flowmaster catback, front strut bars, sony 12" sub Kenwood 800watt amp & Aiwa Deck, stickers Future: Angel Eyes, Drop, Rims, and rear bumper 318ti.org sticker (added 100HP) | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
