I have stayed out of the whole calender thing up to now. My feeling is that no one who was in last years calender, should be in this years. Would you buy any other calender with the same pics from last year?

Is it okay if the picture has a small watermark in one of the corners? A friend of mine took a shot for me, and I don't feel right using the shot without his studio watermark on it.

Some people are creative when it comes to photography.
I see no problem using someone's car twice as long as the photo is different.

That and its all fair, a lot of people are putting a lot of thought and care into this, like me for example, I was in it last year but this year im working my butt off trying to find a different location, different angle and I just got the angels on the car so thats something I am very happy and proud of. I also love this site so if I make it that is great, my family was so proud last year and thought it was soooo cool, but if I dont make it this year I hope to see some amazing pictures. But its not really fair to say that because someone was in it last year isnt allowed to be in it this year, its all up to the people on the site to vote and choose what they want to see on the calender.

My fiance, dad, grandparents and I all have a 318ti.org calendar hanging in the office. They all think it's very cool that my car was featured in a calendar too!

I just submitted a pic for the calendar, what do you think?

Default Photo submission

Hello everyone.

I have to go with an old photo I have (attached). I simply do not have the time to detail and shoot my car before the end of the month. This is just a low-res negative scan with no work done yet. Forgive the low quality.

For print, I typically produce at 200-400 DPI at final size, depending on the magazine. I can provide a full-res photo file once complete; however at 8X10@400DPI the file will be quite large...

This one is not bad, but I'm going to have to spend 10-15 hours on it cleaning it up. The photo attached is for voting purposes only, and once the 'final' is ready, I'll replace this one with the new one.

Enjoy!

The voting is done through the gallery. You need to upload it there.

So, um.... is there any chance that the submission deadline could be extended until perhaps midnight of Sunday, Oct. 1 ??? I have a photographer friend who's interested in helping me out, but I doubt we can get together until Sunday. That would also give folks an entire weekend to snap pix.

It will be. I'll be at Watkins Glen this weekend and doubt if I will get the voting set up until a couple days later.

This may be a stupid question, but does it have to be TI Specific. I have a great shot with a ferrari, would that be ok...or is it bmw/Ti only?
