I was swapping the brake lines yesterday, and noticed something. My rear sway bar is rubbing both halfshafts. It is scoring the halfshafts, but nothing serious. I wonder with the E30 halfshafts going in, if it will make it worse. I upgraded to M-tech sways last year, and new dog bones links. The rubber in the dog bones already is cracking. Is there an adjustment for the rear sway that could keep the bar off the halfshafts?
Do they make any after market dog bone links with urethane instead of rubber? __________________

I nned to look at that next time you are around. I don't remember the sway being anywhere near the half shafts on my car; and I'm quite certain nothing is rubbing...

i agree with J!m, that doesn't sound right at all. even with the suspension under full droop when i was installing the H&R 19mm bar, it wasn't touching. with the links pushing the ends of the bar up above the trailing arms, it should always be above the halfshafts. __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles

I think I meant the sway bar dog bone links are rubbing the halfshafts, not the actual swaybar.
