Default mod. the air grills

hey guys, i'm writting all the way back from Argentina! i'm a proud owner of a 318 tds compact. i'm trying to do some upgrades and i thought i could paint the air conditioning grills (both central and side ones) and i've been looking around and couldn't find anything that explains how to take them out of the console or panel so that i can paint them. I was wondering if any of you guys could tell how to? i just don't wanna break anything jaj. thanks alot in advance.
