The question is.... Will i drive to pheonix?

Is there any difference in engine with the 96 and 97 M44? Anyone know? Like if i wanted to swap my DASC to a 97 m44?

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

You know what's funny is that we originally found this car 3 years ago and bought it from a guy named Mark on this very forum, except he was in Philadelphia and we were in Phoenix. This car was exactly what hubbie was looking for, black/black, M tech package, cali top... so we flew to Philly and drove it back. The road trip was really fun and it's been an awesome car. Mark, the previous owner, was a BMW enthusiast, so it was very well cared for. And it's been our baby too.. except now we have real babies and it's time for a bigger car, something with at least 4 doors. :-)

Bottom line... it's totally worth a drive to Phoenix. :-)

As far as the mechanics.. well you lost me there. I have no clue! I do know that the addition of the Carbonio cold air intake makes it sound really good!

Oh, I just realized that the thing you were talking about is a super charger, that is too funny because hubbie was begging to put one of those in and we never got around to it. He's going to be so jealous if someone buys this and puts a super charger in it. teehee

I already have a supercharger. I was just thinking if swapping my SC to that engine, or entirely swap my engine to that car (if i were to buy it). I would also have to swap ALOT of stuff outta my car to that one, lol. I would paint the car from black to blue. I dont know. Let us know how the sell goes.

Nope, no problems at all. We've been really lucky with this car. I think we've got a buyer lined up already, supposed to meet at the bank tomorrow, really likes the way the car drives. You might want to post your question on the main forum so it gets more traffic. Good luck with your top!
