I have always wanted a really nice e30. I would probably want to get a super clean e30 318is, 325ix or 325is. Although I will probably just get such a car in addition to the ti. If I did get rid of the ti and buy a new primary driver -- I might also look into a new or used 330i or possibly a used Lexus IS300 or the new IS350.

I am already looking at 1999 E36 M3s, probably get one in the next year.

An 8 series wouldn't be bad either...but only in black.

The french cars of the 80s are a far cry from the current cars they produce... I'd love to have a Clio V6 hot hatch for example, little beastie that it is! Even the Peugeot 207 would do well... Too bad the whole french auto industry has such a bad rep here in the US. It'd be nice to see some variety on the road

12k-15k for a good M3 on the market.

10-18k for a e36 M3. of which the only good part of the that car is the engine, the Zlink, Subframe, interior, all wear much too quickly, The POS door cards were the 1st thing that turned me off to e36 coupes. The fact they are over-produced and under-engineered on the non-Ms IMO. But they are better than the LUX-O-Boxes that the e46 tend to be.

If the 118 comes I'll be all over it above everything else. The SMART is also pretty cool and probably my 2nd choice. I'd also consider any of the following: Audi A3, Audi S4, Audi TT, E46 M3, Porsche Boxster, New VW Scirocco, Mini Cooper S, or a Mercedes C230 Coupe.

Yeah theres one I didnt think of, the Audi TT. That ones perfect because it has tons of potential, great looks, and if its a quattro its also pretty practical. Wouldnt mind a Boxter but the only time I would drive it would be on a sunny and dry day, so I would have to get a second car to go with that. And if they sell the SMART roadster or some variation of it with a manual tranny I will be all over it.

Yeah I saw a fortwo from ontario a couple weeks ago when I was in wisconsin. I dont care for the fortwo or forfour but that roadsters hot. Kleemans version has pretty good performance too. I also read that smart is considering making it in a manual.
