i know this is an old thread but...
when i sold my mr2 spyder, i sold it to the guy behind deft racing, and had a chance to check out his 3000gt with the hood that they made/sell and it looks real nice...
anyways, i checked out this thread and found out that deftracing.com's e36 cf hood is selling for about 1/2 of what the website that the op bought from was selling for... __________________

if you scroll down the page they sell a latch for the hood. __________________
