They would fail it for having a number plate light out here its stupid, when I had my mini I wanted to move the fog light from the rear valence to inside a rear light, but "the rules" here state it has to be so many mm away from the brake light lol! __________________ Follow me on Instagram @Mike_Wooding | | | 10-09-2014, 11:58 AM | #152 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | Some states require an inspection like that. In Wisconsin they only care about emissions haha. You just need to take it and make sure it doesn't have a check engine light or anything like that. They don't check anything modification wise unless you remove an emissions system haha __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 10-11-2014, 03:46 PM | #153 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2014 Location: Aylesbury, Bucks,Uk Posts: 22 | U still got those slot mags wanna sell | | | 10-13-2014, 04:22 PM | #154 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2013 Location: UK, Kent Posts: 206 | Quote: Originally Posted by retro ross U still got those slot mags wanna sell | I only have the two at the moment but might be coming in to another two so will have a set and am going to try some smaller tyres but If I cannot fit them I will probably sell them, I'll let you know __________________ Follow me on Instagram @Mike_Wooding | | | 10-13-2014, 06:52 PM | #155 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2014 Location: Aylesbury, Bucks,Uk Posts: 22 | Quote: Originally Posted by minimike I only have the two at the moment but might be coming in to another two so will have a set and am going to try some smaller tyres but If I cannot fit them I will probably sell them, I'll let you know | I would still be interested if u only have two | | | 10-25-2014, 08:18 AM | #156 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2014 Location: Aylesbury, Bucks,Uk Posts: 22 | you still keeping those slot mags? ive been after a couple to put on mine for ages | | | 11-17-2014, 10:19 AM | #157 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2013 Location: UK, Kent Posts: 206 | I emailed Driftworks shop enquiring about HSDs last week as they are normally a 60day wait, and someone had dropped out of buying a set and they told me they could send them out there and then, was too good to miss ! So here they are The money was from selling my chrome cragars I was planning to buy some other wheels but I thought these would be more important and will save for wheels over winter, well the adapters for the wheels are ordered I'll say no more The HSDs ride amazing, they are so solid and comfortable and has got rid of a lot of knocks and squeaks I previously had, also the castor has made it feel 100x better to drive and corrects the steering so quickly, also drives in a straight line now, I'm putting it down to the cheap eBay adjustable top mounts I had before. __________________ Follow me on Instagram @Mike_Wooding | | | 12-12-2014, 10:55 AM | #158 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2013 Location: UK, Kent Posts: 206 | So I got pulled over last weekend after leaving our local track watching the drifting the police were waiting for everyone to leave and impounded 5 or 6 cars, they followed me for a while and decided to pull me, first he tried to give me £100 fine per number plate because they are pressed metal... I then sat in his car and showed him that his computer picks my plates up and they had all the correct stampings and spacing etc then he moved on to my front wheels poking to which I also pointed out thy are allowed to poke 30mm anyway all he could find wrong in the end was my rear fog light bulb was out and I had to go to and MOT garage and get them to stamp the slip to prove i had fixed it and send it back to the police, what a nightmare. After that I decided to buy some wheels of a friend that where cheap and look a little better for now until I can afford some other wheels. These are also slightly more legal Other than that not much change, other than winter making it run really bad again, unplugging my battery to reset the ECU and cleaning up the plugs seems to sort it though.
