Default US spec. radio antenna

I want to install a radio antenna as the American specification.

I got the grommet and antenna mast.

So, because I want to install the correct angle and position, please upload a close-up photo of an antenna base and a side view?

Best regards.

The mounting assembly inside the fender bolts to the bodywork and forces it to the right spot, at least it does on my 1995..

Originally, must be such as wiring inside. But to cut the grommet, fixed with nut antenna mast, I'm going to mount a strong double-sided tape. This means that I can not open a hole in the body. So because I want to know the exact position, I would like you to upload images someone.

Combine the mast and grommet.

Cutting grommet, leaving only the visible part.

And temporarily fixed to the car for the test.

I'd like a photo or advice on mounting position and angle!

My car don't have that kind of antenna.
For real I've never seen a antenna on it, but the radio work good on FM and AM.
How it's possible?

And when I turn on the rear window defroster the radio makes xiiiiiiii noise. What could it be?
