In an E30, he had to remove the brake booster, but it comes with the mounting plate and resivoire. There is some wiring to figure out as it was partially disassembled when we received the car, but it ran. I drove it on and off the trailer. You'll need to wire in your crank angle sensor and modify the tune to work with a maganetic as opposed to hall effect (what the previous motor had). | | | 12-06-2010, 05:22 AM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: Louisiana Posts: 1,093 | well im kinda lost on the intake manifold . more info please. it wil fit the m44 w/o any mods or tune ? also what are the gains ? __________________ was the 1 an only Bagged Ti on 19's!! | | | 12-06-2010, 06:09 AM | #5 | Member Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: SoCal Posts: 64 | Quote: Originally Posted by dguzzardo22 well im kinda lost on the intake manifold . more info please. it wil fit the m44 w/o any mods or tune ? also what are the gains ? | I cannot speak to the gains, as it came off a car that was fire damaged at the rear (it was parked on the street and the car behind caught fire). I also don't know if the airbox will fit in an E36 engine bay as we purchased the car, drove it on the trailer, drove it into the garage, and tore it down. It will bolt up to the M44, but I don't know what it will take to make it work with an M44 and a stock ECU. It's a great part but wiill likely require modification to work with your car. ITBs and an ECU are not bolt on upgrades like a cat back or cold air intake. | | | 12-07-2010, 07:24 PM | #6 | Member Join Date: Aug 2010 Location: Carlsbad, CA Posts: 47 | The Haltech and the ITB setup are sold Last edited by e30pq; 12-08-2010 at 06:12 AM. | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | Similar Threads | Thread | Thread Starter | Forum | Replies | Last Post | WI E36 Gauges - New! | b.u.ti-ful | US and North America | 3 | 10-07-2010 02:33 PM | New gauges | myblueTI | Interior and ICE | 13 | 06-27-2005 02:03 AM | VDO Gauges? | schussey | Engine | 4 | 10-01-2004 04:08 PM | Gauges | Sophia | Interior and ICE | 9 | 01-20-2003 04:43 PM | |
