They make so much sense for commuting and something to be passionate about. Haven't gotten to tinker too much but want to. Live in Greenville SC and are looking to drive some of these before I buy. Will keep an eye out for a manual. Not too picky otherwise. Looking forward to learning. I'd love to see yours to learn more, if you are up for it. Looking at your name, I take it that you have done a motor swap. That sounds great. | | | 03-28-2010, 02:47 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2009 Location: Chicago, IL Posts: 181 | Don't be too trigger happy with that wrench. Tinkering is fun, however on these cars it is best to not do things just because you want to. There has to be an underlying issue existent [i.e. preventive maintenance, upgrade, or a problem]. Otherwise, in the words of a senior BMW mechanic, you inadvertently create problems. | | | 03-29-2010, 06:19 PM | #7 | Junior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: SC Posts: 16 | looks like I don't have access to sent a PM to "1996 328ti" - is it because I don't have enough posts yet? | | | 03-29-2010, 08:03 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by Frby98 looks like I don't have access to sent a PM to "1996 328ti" - is it because I don't have enough posts yet? | I think you need 5 posts before you can PM. That is another step to guard against spamming. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
