I was going 90km/55mph on the highway, (slow) due to the road being rough because it was going to be repaved the next day or so. I heard a large boom! then a quarter of a second later, the car started going in an uncontrollable overseer situation. I immediately turned the wheel the other way, I didn't press the brake to keep the oversteer from getting worst but the oversteer was so bad, it seemed like the car just wouldn't regain control or slow down sufficiently for about 2 seconds, and on the very last second I mashed the brake. At this point the car was at such a bad angle with the road, that the braking didn't have any effect, so I fell down the ditch and the car hit a fence post and did a 270 degree till stop, on grass.
No one got hurt.
I've been driving for 25+yrs and living in a frigid climate I've saved my cars in similar situations even on ice many times (with other cars) but this time I was doomed. The car just didn't want to gain control. I had a flat or two on this car before even on the rear and it managed to keep control easily... what the hell happened this time??
It has traction control...So much for that.
I always pampered her, never even red lined

I was under the assumption that she'd be insured, but it turns out that it was one way insurance.
Anyway, I have her now, she starts, the mechanics seem sound and no "CEL" except the alignment is off, chasis is fine.
Anyone had a similar situation and can tell what happened?
Look at the tire...WTF! , I visually inspect my tires all the time and have the pressure checked when they seem low.
