How many of you have had a hot chick or anyone for that matter, get into your car and when they try to exit they pull on the handle but can't seem to open the door??? I have had so many friends pull on the handle and then won't pull it back far enough to open the door. I have to tell them to keep pulling. O and they also get confused when the doors are locked and when they pull on it the first time it unlocks the door but they get confused and can't figure out to pull on it again to open the door. I was wondering how many other people have friends or anyone that has this problem or confusion. __________________ custom dual exhaust,M3 front and rear bumper, 10.4 inch roof mount drop screen, Viper alarm system, DSII's rims, M3 Vader Seats, M3 Mirrors, Carbon Fiber CAI, Smoked Corners, Side Markers, Leatherz armrests, black grilles 225k miles and still the Ti goes on | | | 05-05-2008, 10:28 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Never had that happen actually. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 05-05-2008, 10:34 PM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2004 Location: Manassas, VA Posts: 4,129 | This happens to me all the time. I had a new lock actuator put in by the dealership to supposedly fix that problem. People think they're gonna break the handle pulling too hard, others just don't have the strength to open it. BTW, I have a hot chick get in and out of it all the time, my GF Quote: Originally Posted by Will'sBimmer How many of you have had a hot chick or anyone for that matter, get into your car and when they try to exit they pull on the handle but can't seem to open the door??? It took me a bit to get used to, but now I like it compared to a normal lock. On a side note, I'm still not really sure what the central lock button does and I just use my key to lock the car each time I get out of it... haha.. I'm just waiting until I get enough money together to get my remote lock/unlock alarm stuff put in. | | | 05-05-2008, 10:59 PM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | yeah windows rolling up and down was a scary thought at times. you just know something bad is going to happen.. i havent had a problem until my club sport because the reg is actually broken in half i unplugged the switch __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 05-05-2008, 11:57 PM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2007 Location: Annapolis/College Park Posts: 337 | 139k and the windows haven't died yet...knock on wood. ^I'm pretty much I just screwed myself... __________________ She's no longer mine, but I gotta keep the pic Current euro: Black MkIII VW Gti VR6 | | | 05-05-2008, 11:58 PM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | I've never had a hot chick in my car, or any girls that might change by the end of the week | | | 05-06-2008, 12:00 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Saint Paul, MN Posts: 3,244 | I keep a tube sock full of quarters just in case someone slams the door with the window half rolled down. __________________ My Former Rides 1999 318ti Alpine White, Cali Roof, Dinan goodies 1996 318ti Hellrot California Edition | | | 05-06-2008, 12:03 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | hahah OUCH! __________________ -Josh Sold-1995 318ti, Club Sport, Hellrot Sold-1996 318ti, Active Model, Boston Green Current- 1995 318ti, sport model, schwartz | | | 05-06-2008, 12:31 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | i have a friend who always rests his arm on the lock...then he can't open the door. funniest sh!t ever! but yeah, it happens in my car too. __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 05-06-2008, 12:41 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Denver, Colorado Posts: 3,212 | Yup I have had friends do the same thing too. Another thing is that they always seem to have trouble finding the window switch. They think its weird thats its in the middle instead of it being on the door. As for people in the back an not being able to fold the seat forward its only the girls that seem to have a hard time. I guess you got to be a genius to drive the Ti. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
