Alright lets get it in the car and show some videos of the I-4 putting down some big numbers. Looks good on the inside which is all that matters

The wrap is good for stainless. It's the M50/S50 that came with cast iron manifolds which will crack at the welds if they don't have room to expand. Take a magnet to your manifold. If it sticks, don't wrap it.

so just to double check, my turbo manifold would be fine with the exhaust wrap right?

Mine is wrapped with glass cloth but I wish it wasn't. Always itchy...

OBX I-4 manifold is a stainless manifold.

I did mine with fiberglass wrap and then coated it with some type of ceramic coating which hardens the fibers and keeps it from absorbing oil or water. VHT makes a coating which is similar to what I used and they have a bunch of cool colors. I just used silver. John, The wrap that I used claims to reduce engine compartment temps by 70%. That seems a bit optimistic to me. I haven't ran my engine yet, but have you noticed a significantly cooler engine compartment?

I painted mine with VHT a full can and I still itch if I have to do anything near the manifold. Sucks. It makes a big difference on lowering under hood temps.

Cool. Then it should help extend the life of say a carbon hood and all of the plastic components in the engine bay.
