better question, would it hold 500hp?

Yes it will fit a Z3.

As of the holding of 500hp is relative on what amount of torque, what kind of tires, track or street ?

I would bet that a lot of other things would break before this diff.

Yessir clutch type LSD with 25% lockup.

Its a direct swap as far as bolting in but you may have to use your stubs out of your old diff to mate with your 1/2 shafts.
